Bible study 92 – Leviticus 2Posted: January 3, 2017
The next type of sacrifice is the grain offering, which includes grain flour and various dishes made from flour. Only a part of the dish is to be burned; the rest will be eaten by Aaron and his sons. I have a slight suspicion that Aaron (or the priest who wrote this down) may have included their personal culinary preferences in the text, because the accepted types of grain dishes are weirdly specific. The instructions also include “with all your offerings you shall offer salt.”
If your offering is grains prepared on a griddle, it shall be of choice flour mixed with oil, unleavened.
