Bible study 96 – Leviticus 6Posted: January 7, 2017
God elaborates on some details concerning the various types of sacrifice mentioned so far; largely how to process the various body parts of the sacrificed animals. Some are to burnt separately outside the tabernacle, others are to be eaten by the priests. A perpetual fire is also to be kept at the altar.
It also introduces the daily offering, to be offered every day. Something similar was mentioned in Exodus 29, but with two lambs; now it is only two litres of grain instead.
An earthen vessel in which it was boiled shall be broken; but if it is boiled in a bronze vessel, that shall be scoured and rinsed in water.
