Bible study 124 – Numbers 7Posted: February 4, 2017
Moses finishes setting up the tabernacle (he already did this in Exodus 40; this and other things suggest it might be a flashback), and the leaders of all the clans give him gifts. Each clan gives him some expensive tableware containing flour and incense, and 21 animals to be sacrificed. The gift from each clan is identical, and repeated once for each of the 12 clans in meticulous detail. In addition to all this, the Levites get some wagons to carry the tabernacle-parts.
And for the sacrifice of well-being, two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five male lambs a year old. This was the offering of Nahshon son of Amminadab.
