Two silver trumpets are made, and various combination of blows are agreed upon to signal gatherings and departures.
After about a year at Mount Sinai, the Israelites finally go back into the desert. Moses convinces his father-in-law to come with them as a desert-guide; his name has changed back from Jethro to Reuel again.
Whenever the ark set out, Moses would say,
“Arise, O Lord, let your enemies be scattered,
And your foes flee before you.”
